Kinnaird v Paton & Anor - PUWER regulations - Scottish Court of Session Decisions 19.6.07

Paul Kinnaird was injured in the course of employment, when his fuel-soaked overalls ignited due to sparks produced by a Stihl saw that he was using. His claim of breach of duty under Regulations 4 and 8 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 has been allowed by the Scottish Court of Session to proceed to a jury trial.
