Rolls Royce Industrial Power (India) Ltd v Cox - one week's probable exposure to asbestos is not

International Combustion Ltd (IC) was one of a number of companies for whom Mr Cox, a power station maintainer, had worked. Mr Cox eventually died of mesothelioma. Following Fairchild v Glenhaven the High Court held that IC exposed Mr Cox to the asbestosis which caused his condition. Rolls Royce, as IC's successor, was ordered to compensate his widow.
