When can religious organisations discriminate? - BHA website 4.12.07
The extent to which religious organisations can rely on Genuine Occupational Requirements (GOR) to justify religious discrimination is not clear. On 4th December 2007 a case started in an Employment Tribunal at Abergele in North Wales in which this is the central question. The case concerns a claim against the Prospects Charity, a Christian organisation which helps people with learning difficulties.
