RDF Media Group Plc v Clements - the mutual obligation of trust and confidence - QBD 5.12.07

Mr Clements, an important figure in the media world and husband of the TV presenter Kirsty Wark, tendered his resignation to RDF and was put on gardening leave. A serious argument over restrictive covenants followed. This generated considerable publicity and even led to a press conference. Mr Clements claimed that he had been constructively dismissed and therefore was not bound by the covenants.
