Crystal Palace FC (2000) Ltd v Dowie - no settlement agreement - [2008] EWHC 240 (QB) on 18.2.08

In July 2007 the High Court ruled in favour of Crystal Palace Football Club and its chairman Simon Jordan in their claim that Iain Dowie, the Club Manager, had made false representations about his future plans which persuaded them to agree to sign a compromise agreement releasing him from his employment contract. It is understood that Mr Dowie is appealing to the Court of Appeal (likely to be hear in April 2008).
