Christie Owen & Davies Plc v Walton - Court of Session (Outer House) - balance of convenience favoured interim interdict - 22.2.08

Mr Walton worked in CO&D's agency section. He left in December 2007 to join another firm. CO&D discovered that he had e-mailed to his home large amounts of information about their clients, mailing lists, and care homes in Scotland. They claimed that he was trying to solicit their clients and set up a competing business with his new employer.Mr Walton challenged the "interim interdict" (the equivalent of an injunction) it obtained against him.
