Not directly employment law - this case concerns Identity Cards. The Office of Government Commerce (the OGC) did not want to release details of reviews of the identity card scheme. The Information Commissioner ordered it to release the information (under the Freedom of Information Act). The Government appealed to the Information Tribunal but lost (OGC v Information Commissioner (2nd May 2007. The Government appealed on to the High Court.
