Watkins-Singh, R (on the application of) v The Governing Body of Aberdare Girls' High School & Anor - forbidding Sikh pupil to wear bangle was indirect religious and racial discrimination - High Court 29.7.08

Not an employment case, but of interest and relevance even so to questions of religious discrimination and dress codes. That said, it should be used with caution, since Silber J went to great pains to stress that "This judgment is fact-sensitive and it does not concern or resolve the issue of whether the wearing of the Kara should be permitted in our schools" - and presumably, by implication, workplaces.
