Keen v Commerzbank AG - discretionary bonuses - High Court QBD 7.4.06
Mr Keen was employed in Commerzbank AG's Investment Banking Division at an annual salary of £120,000 PLUS discretionary bonus. He was made redundant and made claims in respect of bonus payments for 2003, 2004 and 2005. The bank applied to the High Court for summary judgment (under CPR Pt 24). The High Court has refused that application and ruled that he has an arguable case.
