EC Commission v UK: UK in breach of EC rules re protection against radiation - ECJ Case C-155/06, 18.7.07
The ECJ has ruled that the UK government has "failed to fulfil its obligations under Article 53 of Council Directive 96/29/Euratom of 13 May 1996 laying down basic safety standards for the protection of the health of workers and the general public against the dangers arising from ionising radiation".
