Negligent employer's liability for costs of non-medical care provided free to a former employee by a charity - Drake v Starkey

The cost of non-medical care provided free of charge by a charity to a dying person can be recovered from a former employer whose negligence led to his condition. However the claimant (or their estate) must hold any sums recovered under this head of claim on trust for the charity even if they have made a donation to the charity.
