Bradley & Ors, R (on the application of) v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions - Judicial Review in pensions case

The subject of these judicial review proceedings was a report published in March 2006 by the Parliamentary Ombudsman entitled, somewhat ironically, "Trusting in the Pensions Promise".

The report, which stated that the Department of Work and Pensions had been guilty of maladministration, recommended that compensation should be offered to those who had been unfortunate enough to lose all or part of their pensions through collapse of their company schemes.
