Chatzi v Ipourgos Ikonomikon - birth of twins does not create automatic entitlement to double period of parental leave

The Parental Leave Directive (96/34/EC) creates rights for parents, not children. Where twins are born, that does not of itself mean that the parents have an automatic right to double the period of parental leave.
