Genc v Land Berlin - definition of a "Turkish worker"

A person qualifies as a “Turkish worker” for the purposes of Decision No. 1/80 on the development of the EEC‑Turkey Association  provided that his or her work is real and genuine and involves performing services for someone else in return for remuneration, even if the work involves very few hours and the person receives a wage well below that which a Member State considers necessary for subsistence.
