Garratt v Mirror Group Newspapers Ltd - contractually enhanced redundancy pay was subject to Compromise Agreement being signed

Years of following standard, fully accepted and unchallenged practice meant that it was now an implied term of a Collective Agreement that enhanced redundancy would only be paid if a Compromise Agreement was signed.
