Chunilal v Merrill Lynch International Incorporated - whether the English courts had jurisdiction in a breach of contract claim.

A breach of contract claim will only be heard in the English courts if (a) English law governs the contract (taking into account whether (i) the contract was made in England, (ii) the contract is governed by English law, and/or (iii) the alleged breach of contract took place within the jurisdiction) and (b) England is, in the circumstances, the most appropriate forum for the case to be heard in.
