Christian v Nursing and Midwifery Council - struck off nurse loses appeal

Christina Christian was a registered nurse who was "struck off" following an order of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Conduct and Competence Committee, given in July 2009.  The committee found her unfit to practice due to irregularities in the dispensing of medications, and dishonesty. 

Ms Christian appealed on grounds that her representative at the committee's hearing had failed to inform it about additional courses and training she had undergone in the prescription of controlled drugs, such that the committee's decision was unjust.
