Director fined £75,000 and banned from the industry for lying to FSA
The Financial Services and Markets Tribunal has imposed a fine of £75,000 on a company director, Simon Kuun.
Mr Kuun ran MFP Group Plc, a financial planning firm in Bromsgrove. An FSA investigation in 2008 found he lacked the honesty and integrity expected of an approved person. He was originally fined £50,000 for breaches of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but this has now been increased to £75,000.
