Department of Constitutional Affairs v Jones - disability discrimination and the just and equitable extension of time - Court of Appeal 18.7.07

A tribunal chairman considered it just and equitable to extend time to allow Mr Jones's claim of disability discrimination. He accepted that a key factor in the delay was Mr Jones's reluctance, due to his mental illness, to accept that he had a disability. The EAT agreed and the Department appealed.
