Martin v Southern Health & Social Care Trust - working time: rest breaks and on-call time
Rest breaks taken on site but away from the place where the worker performs his or her duties, and during which he or she should not be interrupted save in exceptional circumstances, count as rest breaks for the purposes of the Working Time Regulations. They are not time spent on call which is counted as working time.
