Al Rawi & Ors v The Security Service & Ors - no "closed material procedure" in "ordinary" courts as opposed to Employment Tribunals

In employment tribunal cases involving national security, a statutory "closed material procedure" can be followed: however, there is no provision in law for such a procedure to be followed in the ordinary courts in either civil litigation or judicial review. Furthermore, it would not be for the common law to evolve to introduce such a procedure but a matter strictly for legislation by Parliament should it so wish.
