Lew v Board of Trustees of United Synagogue - injunction granted to call a temporary halt to disciplinary procedure

The Courts have power to make an order to call to a halt all internal disability and capability proceedings against an employee pending trial of a disputed serious issue. However it is unlikely that a Court will make such an order if there has been a breakdown in the mutual trust and confidence between the employer and employee needed to enable the employee to continue working for the employer, or if damages would be an adequate remedy.
