G, R (on the application of) v X School - right to legal representation at disciplinary hearing

An employee is not generally entitled to insist on legal representation at an internal disciplinary hearing by an employer.  His right to a fair trial under the European Convention on Human Rights Art. 6  will be satisfied if (as will generally be so) the final determination of his case can be undertaken by an independent tribunal that will make its own findings of fact on the basis of all  available material.
