St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals NHS Trust v Brownbill & Ors - entitlement is to equality of specifc terms, not total pay
In a claim for equal pay an employment tribunal must specifically ensure equality of terms. It does not matter if doing so actually has the effect of giving the claimants a better remuneration package as a whole than their comparators, since the focus of the law is not on total pay or the contract as a whole.
