In a rare example of a (partially) successful civil claim under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, a woman has won damages from the Ministry of Defence.
Ms Rayment was a volunteer member of the Territorial Army from 1987 to 2003. During her time with the TA, she received driving training which qualified her to drive vehicles ranging from cars to HGVs. In 2003 she got a job working at the Honourable Artillery Company in City Road, London and in early 2004 won promotion and became the driver for the Commanding Officer of the HAC.
