Aegon UK Corporate Services Ltd v Roberts, EAT - Final salary pension scheme and money purchase pension scheme in context of unfair dismissal [2009] EAT

Ms Roberts had won an unfair dismissal claim against Aegon, her former employer.  She was awarded just over £37,000 in compensation. 

In calculating compensation the Tribunal noted that she had found new employment.  It concluded that her loss of earnings claim could not extend beyond the date when she started the new employment.
