Alexander v Awogboro and London Borough of Hackney - Apparent bias [2005] EAT

Ms Alexander claimed sex discrimination against Mr Awogboro and her employer, the London Borough of Hackney. She lost. She appealed on grounds of (a) apparent bias of the Tribunal because of alleged discussions which took place between her employer's barrister and the tribunal in her absence and (b) the failure of the Employment Tribunal to grant her application for an adjournment on the first day of the hearing.
