An employment tribunal dismissed Mr Aziz-Mir's claims of race discrimination. On appeal to the EAT he raised a number of points relating to alleged bias. One of these, concerning the Employment Judge's distant links with a particular Jewsih organisation, was considered entirely separately (see Aziz-Mir v. Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Plc [2007] UKEAT 0415_07_2811 (28 November 2007) [1]). A separate division of the EAT considered his other claims.
