Barwick v Avon & Somerset Constabulary - Permission to amend claim granted to police officer [2009] EAT

Mr Barwick was a police constable.  As such  he was not an employee and therefore not able to bring an unfair dismissal claim.  However police officers can bring discrimination claims, including claims of constructive dismissal on unlawful discriminatory grounds.
