Less favourable treatment of a part time worker
Regulation 5 of the Part Time Workers Regulations 2000 [1] identifies the right of a part-time worker not to be treated less favourably than a full-time worker. It provides:
“(1) A part-time worker has the right not to be treated by his employer less favourably than the employer treats a comparable full-time worker -
(a) as regards the terms of his contract; or
