City of Edinburgh Council v (1) Wilkinson & 21 others (2) McLeod & 31 others [2010] EAT

The EAT confirms that, in an equal pay act claim, (1) it can be appropriate for female employees working in administrative and professional roles to seek to use male, bonus-earning, manual workers as comparators; and (2) that the women and men can work at physically different locations but, since their employer was a single undertaking, still be working within the "same establishment".
