The Manchester Employment Tribunal upheld claims by 3 employees that they had been unfairly and wrongfully dismissed and that they had suffered unlawful deductions from wages. Awards in favour of the three totalled in aggregate well over £100,000.
The employer appealed, essentially on alternative grounds that the employment tribunal had given inadequate reasons for its decision and/or perversity.
The EAT has dismissed the appeal.
