Despatch Controller Mr Nazren was dismissed by Gate Gourmet for theft of their biscuits. He went through a full disciplinary process, including an appeal, and also issued a grievance which was fully considered. An employment tribunal rejected his complaints of unfair dismissal, race discrimination and victimisation. Mr Nazren appealed.
The EAT dismissed his appeal. Following a thorough review of the tribunal's decision and reasons, in the light of the evidence, there were no grounds for interfering with any of its conclusions.
