The law on protected disclosures is set out in the Employment Rights Act 1996. Section 43A ERA [1] contains the meaning of "protected disclosure"
‘In this Act a "protected disclosure" means a qualifying disclosure (as defined by section 43B [2]) which is made by a worker in accordance with any of sections 43C to 43H. [3]
